We are very proud of our children today. Despite the wind and the rain, our County Sports team have done brilliantly, won lots of medals and the overall shield this year!
We couldn’t have done this without the input of Mrs Barlow, who not only teaches the P4 – 7 sports, but also gave her time to coach the children. Thank you also to the dedicated parent helpers and staff who also supported this and many other sporting events.
The children, staff and parents arrived back with the shield to cheers of celebration and lots of smiles.
Well done to all. A sporting achievement that we are extremely proud of.
The Parent Council will be serving tea and coffee at sports day next week. The children of Ben Wyvis Primary are keen to avoid using too many single use plastic cups.
Please could we ask you to bring a travel mug if you would like a hot drink and also a few spare pennies. All donations will go to the Parent Council fund.
The Ben Wyvis Parents Council would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the summer fayre at the weekend. Whether you came to join in the fun (and spend your money), helped out for an hour, did some baking and / or bottle collecting, ran a stall on behalf of the Parents Council, helped with the class stalls, were volunteering from setup through to clearing up, or any other combination – thank you. You know exactly what you did to help and it wouldn’t have been such a success without each and every one of you taking part.
We will be giving a summary of how everything went at your Parent Council Annual General Meeting (AGM) next Wednesday, 6th June, 6pm, staff room. It would be great to see as many parents and carers there as possible.
Thanks again, we’re really pleased with how it went. We’ll try and get the sun back next year :o)
