Rosemarkie Beach Day

The sun shone and children, parents and staff arrived at school with their buckets, spades and shades. We had our day organised with precision and parent helpers were plentiful. Thank you so much to all who supported our day at the beach.

Our local Ranger, Jenny had set up for rock pooling, Phillip at the Rosemarkie Beach Cafe had the ice-cream (and weather) on order and we had also arranged visits for some children to Groam House Museum, while others explored the Fairy Glen and Chanonry Point. Sports activities were great fun and the children played on the grass and sand.

A huge thank you to Spa Coaches too, who helped us with the logistics of transporting our children. The local community had also lent us some group gazebos for the day and those who wanted could have their lunch in the shade.

It was commented on by staff at the places we visited that the behaviour of all Ben Wyvis children was exemplary.

A final thank you to all the staff who worked hard all day to engage the children in learning and fun.

Enjoy the photos
