Our Remembrance Service

The whole school community gathered yesterday, with local Ministers, Councillors, some Parent Partnership members and also Tom and Mr Innes to learn about why we wear poppies and to think about those who have served, those who are still serving and those who have lost their lives in conflicts.

Primary 4 spoke about what the poppy represents and had organised a power-point presentation. The whole school also sang beautifully. We then gathered outside in our Remembrance Garden and each class laid a wreath.

We held our 2 minute silence at 11am.
